Robert holds a bachelorвЂ™s degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University. He began his career in 1991 in the United States where he served as an HVAC design engineer with NASA and has since held varying roles in different industry sectors, including regional Maintenance manager for FedEx, and Data Center Infrastructure Director with Verizon. Robert is now responsible for leading the delivery of FM services at Katara Cultural Village Project.Д«efore joining Mosanada, Robert served as Regional Facilities Operations Director of the MENA region for GE Oil & Gas, where he supervised facilities, construction, contracts, performance, compliance, safety and risk management for several multi-million dollar projects. Robert Awadat is an industry veteran with over 28 years of experience in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Maintenance Management, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Planning, Reliability Engineering and Program Management. Additionally, he is an active fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Greg is a registered Chartered Engineer with a master's degree in Building Services Engineering from Brunel University London. Since 2000 he has spent nine years in the Middle East within the Construction and Facilities Management environment with UK MoD, BAE Systems, and Astrium.

Greg left the UK in 2000 having spent 15 years working within the UK Ministry of Defence Estates Departments which resulted in him being accountable for running approximately one third of the Military Facilities and Infrastructure Estate as part of Regional Prime Contracting Scotland. He has since assumed responsibility for delivering the successful Aspire Zone project. Greg joined Mosanada in 2013 to take on the inaugural role of Project Director for the Ministry of Culture and Sport project, responsible for the delivery of building control, maintenance, and sustainability services.
